Embedded Linux developer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a motivated Embedded Linux developer to implement our product on Linux based edge devices. We rely on the latest technologies and open source software, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Balena OS.

Your tasks

• You design and implement container based software solutions in C and C++ for embedded Linux systems
  • You select suitable architectures and solution modules
  • You elaborate requirements from the idea to the realizable, estimated function
  • You create and check estimates for development efforts
  • You work closely with all other team members to integrate the solution in the current platform
  • You create and maintain architecture and software documentation
• You support in solving customer problems
• You take responsibility for the entire area of embedded Linux software

You should bring

• Experience: several years of experience in embedded software development, preferably edge computing experience in C & C++
• Structured way of working from idea generation to successful implementation
• Enthusiasm for new technologies like IoT and/or DLTs (distributed ledger technologies, i.e. blockchains)
• Technologies & Skills: Linux, Yocto, Balena, Embedded Linux,
• Architectures: ARM, x86
• Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Git
• Good German and excellent English skills

Nice to have's

• Startup, agency or industry experience
• Experience in designing and managing software libraries
